Public standard. Controlled certification and rights.
DraftVerify publishes a private voluntary standard and operates a conformity assessment and certification program. This notice explains what public access permits—and what requires written authorization.
1. Status of DraftVerify
DraftVerify is an independent private standards and certification initiative. It is not a government body, regulator, public health authority, statutory inspection agency, or accredited certification body unless a specific accreditation is expressly identified for a specific scope.
DraftVerify requirements do not replace applicable law, regulation, code, manufacturer instructions, qualified technical service, or professional advice.
2. DraftVerify Standard v2.0
Version 2.0 is the current DraftVerify F-Series publication. F-1 is the controlling master standard, subject to the precedence and governance rules in F-1 and F-40.
Publication for public reading does not place the Standard or other DraftVerify works in the public domain.
3. Copyright
Original DraftVerify standards text, diagrams, training materials, software, graphics, forms, handbooks, certificate artwork, and other qualifying works may be protected by copyright.
Copyright protects original expression. DraftVerify does not claim copyright ownership over facts, abstract ideas, procedures, methods, or systems that copyright law does not protect.
4. Permitted public reference
Public users may read and link to DraftVerify publications and may make accurate factual references to DraftVerify, subject to applicable law.
Except as permitted by law or written licence, public access does not authorize substantial reproduction, commercial redistribution, translation, adaptation, incorporation of protected DraftVerify expression into paid training or competing publications, or removal of copyright and document-control notices.
5. DraftVerify marks
DraftVerify™, DraftVerify Standard™, DraftVerify Certified™, DraftVerify Verified™, associated logos, badges, seals, certificate designs, and other designated identifiers are claimed or controlled marks to the extent protected by applicable law. Registration status varies by jurisdiction.
DraftVerify does not use the ® symbol for a mark unless the relevant registration has actually been granted.
6. Certification program
DraftVerify Certification is a private voluntary conformity designation issued only for the scope stated in an active DraftVerify certificate. Certification is governed by F-32 and F-33.
No person may imply that DraftVerify has certified, approved, verified, endorsed, audited, or authorized them unless the claimed status is current and within scope.
7. Certification mark licence
Authorized certification-mark use is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission tied to an active certificate and its written licence. Suspension, withdrawal, expiry, or termination ends current promotional authorization except where written terms expressly provide otherwise.
8. Registry status
The DraftVerify Registry is the controlling DraftVerify record of certificate status. A copied certificate, screenshot, badge, label, or third-party listing does not override current Registry status.
9. Enforcement
DraftVerify may use remedies appropriate to the right involved, including certification withdrawal, contractual remedies, trademark or certification-mark remedies, copyright remedies concerning protected expression, passing-off or unfair-competition remedies, platform notices where legally available, and other lawful relief.
DraftVerify will not characterize independent use of an unprotected idea, fact, method, or system as copyright infringement merely because it resembles a concept described by DraftVerify.
10. No warranty of legal or technical sufficiency
DraftVerify publications are provided for standards, certification, operational, and educational purposes. Operators remain responsible for legal compliance, food safety, sanitation, equipment safety, system design, product handling, and qualified technical judgment.
